Accessibility
More ways in.
Accessibility should be built in from the start. We’re exploring tools that could remove barriers for disabled people and others whose needs are often overlooked, offering more choice in how people take part.
Technology, with people in mind.
Exploring ideas and thoughtful tools for accessibility, wellbeing and everyday independence.
Because technology should fit around the way you live.
What we’re exploring
Our focus
Different needs. Different routines. Three areas where we’re exploring what technology could make possible.
Accessibility
Accessibility should be built in from the start. We’re exploring tools that could remove barriers for disabled people and others whose needs are often overlooked, offering more choice in how people take part.
Mental wellbeing
Digital life can be noisy and demanding. We’re exploring calmer, more considered ways for technology to fit into the day, with less pressure on people’s attention.
Everyday independence
Everyone has their own routines and ways of doing things. We’re interested in tools that respect those differences and support more choice and control in everyday life.
Our approach
The useful questions come from real life. A task that takes too much effort. A tool that assumes everyone works the same way. A small frustration that keeps coming back.
That’s where we start: understanding what gets in the way, and exploring how to make it easier.
Taking shape
We’re exploring ideas and making tools. We’ll share more when there’s something useful to show.
A conversation is a good place to start.
A challenge, an idea or a different perspective.
We’d like to hear it.
